Say What?

Before I go into any details I would just like to point out that before getting into my space, my husband practically lived in the garage. Always fixing or working on something. Now, all that has gone to the wayside. I try to find things for him to do, but if it intails work he always manages to work in alot of break time. So therefore, nothing really ever gets accomplished. There has got to be a way, or something to get him motivated and up out of the chair which sits in front of the TV. Im open for any suggestions from anyone. I really like this blogging, its someplace I can go to vent out my frustrations about about this whole retirement thingy.
It could be me. Ya think. I guess Im in retirement myself, but just don't know it yet.

What Your Retiring?

It's amazing, you have all the space you need. Then suddenly after forty four years that space is history. I was so used to going and coming without having to worry about fixing breakfast or lunch sometimes dinner because I new there was know one home to worry about. Now, where ever I am its always on my mind as to: should I feed this person before I leave, or should I grab him a burger on my way back home. Suddenly, I have someone wondering when is she coming home, where is she Im hungry. I thought for some second that maybe this retirement thing was going to work in my favor, all these little jobs that has been sitting on the back shelf would finally get done. WRONG, We can't start anything just yet, I have to drink my coffee and do my morning paper crossword puzzle. Well by that time half the day is gone. He retired last August 2006 and girls Im here to tell you he's still trying to adjust. For me its only done one thing, it has curbed alot of spending money. My time is not free anymore. What's going on?Now I have to tell where Im going and when I'll be back. I think I need to get a job.
